Patiala Bus Stand to be named after Satguru Ram Singh Ji

Transport Minister Mohan Lal while attending the 194th “Parkash Utsav” at Bhaini Sahib today announced that the fully air-conditioned bus-stand to be constructed at Patiala, would be named after Satguru Ram Singh.

The cost of construction was estimated to be Rs 500 crore, and he claimed that it would be completed within 18 months. He also said that the Malerkotla bus-stand would be named after martyr Bishan Singh.

Satguru Ram Singh persuaded several youths to fight for the freedom of the country. He also stood against social evils like female foeticide. We should all learn from his teachings, he added.
